Working principle of solar pumping inverters


The working principle of solar pumping inverter is mainly to convert the direct current generated by the photovoltaic array (solar cell module) into alternating current to drive the water pump. 


1. Photovoltaic array power generation:

The photovoltaic array is one of the core components of the solar water pumping system. When sunlight shines on the photovoltaic array, the photons will excite the electrons in the solar cell to generate current. This current is direct current (DC).


2. Conversion of DC to AC:

The main function of the solar water pump inverter is to convert the direct current generated by the photovoltaic array into alternating current (AC) for the water pump motor.


3. System control and regulation:

The inverter controls and regulates the operation of the entire solar water pumping system. It adjusts the output frequency in real time according to the changes in sunlight intensity to achieve maximum power point tracking (MPPT). This means that the inverter will try to find the best power output point to maximize the use of solar energy.


4. Drive the water pump:

The AC power converted by the inverter will be used to drive the water pump motor, which pumps water or raises the water level by rotating, thereby realizing irrigation, water supply and other functions.
